James' Love Arts MOVIE WORKS is a compilation of his approximate 2000+ drawings, graphic pop art and paintings of film stars, Directors and movies. VOLUMES I. and II. of his Love Arts MOVIE WORKS have over 1000 illustrations. Comer also did a FABULOUS 50's Movie Works edition. Over 90 per cent of his work was actually sketched while watching the "film subjects" on Turner Classic Movies.
James believes that there are important lessons that can be taught through viewing Classic Films. Today many experts claim arguably that American Movies sent around the world have the greatest influence on culture than any other American exports! Are we exporting the best and most positive moving images that we can? Inquiries welcomed.
James is also working to get the novel "Lydia" ~ a romance murder mystery set in Greece by Angela Catramadou-Parker produced on the big screen as well as his recent play "A Conversation with Audacity".
